Scotland’s Alan Clyne heads the men’s entry list for the Springfield Scottish Squash Open, with players from eighteen different countries vying for the titles in Edinburgh next month.
Clyne is seeded to meet Spain’s Edmon Lopez in the final, with fellow Spaniard Bernat Jaume and Frenchman Victor Crouin – the recently crowned US College champion – as 3/4 seeds.
Scotland’s Rory Stewart, Chris Leiper and Fergus Richards are all in the men’s draw as wildcard entries.
The women’s entry list is headed by English pair Lucy Turmel and Rachel Chadwick, with France’s Melissa Alves and Scotland’s Alison Thomson the 3/4 seeds.
Georgina Adderley, Carrie Hallam, Lucy Murchie and Katriona Allen add home interest to the women’s draw.

The Springfield Scottish Squash Open takes place at Oriam, Heriot-Watt University from 3rd – 7th April 2019. The $20,000 PSA tour event will allow male and female competitors to compete for equal prize money. It is the first time the competition returns to Scotland for 18 years.
