Getting to Inverness

With a local airport, raod and rail access from across the UK, getting to Inverness could not be easier! Which ever transport method you use it will offer the opportunity to enjoy fabulous scenery en route. So even the journey here can be a special and memorable part of your experience.

The venue for the 2021 Springfield Scottish Squash Open, Inverness Tennis & Squash Club, is located within the city and only a 10 minute walk from the city centre of Inverness making access very easy.

By Air

Inverness Airport is located just 15 minutes from the city centre and regular bus services operate between Inverness city centre and Inverness Airport throughout the day. Service 11 provided by Stagecoach will provide your quickest and best service.

Inverness Airport offers a range of daily flights to and from a number of key destinations across the UK and further.

By Rail

Inverness railway station is located in the city centre of Inverness and is connected to all major rail networks.

You can plan your train journey with National Rail on their website.

By Car

The A9 is the main access road to Inverness from the south, Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow and also from the north.

The A82 is an alternative and more scenic route from the south (Glasgow) via Loch Ness through the Great Glen to Inverness. The A96 links Inverness to Aberdeen.

The Scottish Highlands has a reputation for some of the most spectacular roads to drive in the world. The North Coast 500, which starts and ends in Inverness, is a scenic route around the north coast, coined as “the ultimate road trip”.

By Coach

National bus companies including Megabus, Citylink, National Express and Stagecoach will take you from major UK cities to Farraline Park Bus Station in the centre of Inverness.
